Actively Accepting Candidates Saigon — Hybrid <30 hrs/week Entry Level Contract · 3-6 months M1 Mac required

Entry-Level Agentic Engineer

Posted May 8, 2026

About Us

We The Flywheel (WTF) is a private digital product studio active across sports media, technology, fitness, and personal branding. We operate 500+ web properties across 42 markets and are deeply embedded in AI-native workflows. Our HQ is in Saigon's District 2, with team members across Vietnam, Europe, the Balkans, and Latin America.

The Role

"Agentic engineering" means you direct AI tools — Claude Code, Cursor, Aider, Codex — to ship code instead of writing every line by hand. We're hiring for trajectory and aptitude, not credentials: no prior professional coding experience is required. If you're someone who's already used AI tools to build things you didn't know how to build before, this is your role.

You'll ship small concrete things across our product portfolio — landing pages, internal scripts, content automations, micro-features. Senior engineers will pair with you on the harder bits. Saigon-anchored: this role expects 1–2 days per week in our District 2 office for collaboration, with the rest remote.

What You'll Do

  • Use AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Aider, Codex CLI) to ship small features, scripts, and automations across our portfolio
  • Translate vague business requirements into precise AI prompts that produce working output
  • Read AI output critically — debug, push back, iterate until the result is actually right
  • Build a personal library of prompts, MCP integrations, and workflows the team can reuse
  • Pair with senior engineers on harder pieces; learn fast, contribute fast

Who You Are

  • Deeply curious about AI; already use it heavily in your daily life
  • Self-directed learner — comfortable picking up new tools every week
  • Honest about what you don't know — and unafraid to keep iterating until it works
  • Strong written communication — you'll be writing prompts all day
  • Own a Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 or newer, any tier). M1, M2, M3, M4 — base, Pro, Max, or Ultra all qualify. We verify this; agentic workflows lean on the unified-memory architecture for local LLMs and parallel agents.

Experience (Preferred, Not Required)

  • Any shipped artifact you can point at — a script, a Notion automation, a static site, a Replit demo, a Cloudflare Worker
  • Heavy use of an AI coding agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Aider, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Replit Agent)
  • Comfort with the command line, Git/GitHub, and at least one publish target (Vercel, Replit, Cloudflare Pages)
  • Background in any field where you've had to learn fast and ship under constraints
  • Familiarity with local LLM runtimes (Ollama, LM Studio, MLX) is a bonus, not a must
